§ 14-37. Confinement.

  • The city shall use the jail of the county for confinement of any person taken into custody for violation of the Charter, this Code, or any ordinance of the city or imprisoned by order of the judge. In an emergency or civil disorder or if the city manager determines that there is insufficient room in the county jail or other places where prisoners are confined, the manager may designate temporary places of detention or confinement.
